Any business needs a few things. Customers and more customers. Every business will get some customers but the need for more customers never goes away. How do you get more customers? Advertising of course. We had super cheap deals on advertising before but I can do a little better….. To get started we are going to make a special offer but first I will remond folks of how we advertised in the past.
Many years ago the average advertiser could get prices as cheap as $3.50 per ad per spot but had to run 100 or more ads. Ads ran all day and all night and that made sure you got coverage WHENEVER people were listening but that comes out to about 3.5 ads per day for a month so if you didn’t have drive time or lunch you didn’t get the MOST ears on your ads but the sponsored sections were the more expensive ads and they only sponsored segments and shows. Some of those sponsorships were $200 per show / segment once per week and 4 weeks a month, etc. We ultimately had to raise the price to $5 per ad to simply keep up with the cost of everything and had discussed moving to $7.We built custom packages for larger advertisers of course but we always tried to make it affordable and high value. Those clients understood the value of advertising consistently to see the most ROI and the times did matter. In the dothan market the low end pricing comes in around $12 and the next lowest is $30 per SPOT!!!!
What am I going to do? I am going to offer unlimited ads to the first 10 advertisers for $100.00 per month for as long as a contract stay current. Non sponsored segments and shows will be available for those advertisers until we get sponsors for the segment and will be given priority to take the sponsorship first. First come first serve and when they are gone the are gone. If you do the math the same 100 spots on Jaco Today Radio will only cost a maximum of $1 per spot and will likely get closer to t 200+ play per month reducing the cost down to around .50 cent per play.
